I have selected Local Pickup as a Shipping Option, how will I get my device?
We will stop accepting International orders on July 19th, 2019 due to the logistics of international shipping. To accommodate those who missed out, we created Local Pickup as a shipping option by partnering with Choice Wireless.
All orders that select Local Pickup will be available at our partnering Choice Wireless Store in Fallon, Nevada. Located just a short drive out of the way for those traveling to the festival via Reno.
A tracking number for your order will arrive via email when it ships to the store so you can track its progress and plan accordingly.
You will need your Order Number, Name, Address, as well as a picture ID to pick up your order at the Choice Wireless Store.

I have registered for Early Access, when can I buy my service and device?
You will receive an email from us on a date to be announced* with a link to our web store, a full day before we publish it on the site for everyone else. Our supplies of devices are limited, so we highly suggest registering for this email to make sure you can get yours.

I have my own device or phone, can I set that up with you instead of buying a device, given that supplies are limited?
No. There are over 70,000 people at this event with many different types of devices. The need for special case account setups would be overwhelming and we would not be able to guarantee our customer experience.

I am lucky enough to own a device just like the one you are selling, can I use that with your service?
No. Despite the device being similar, there are still varying factors like firmware and the type of wireless technology it uses that are not obviously apparent. The devices we are selling are tested for our network. The one you have, though it closely resembles ours, is not. You can, however, reuse a device you purchased from us next year and save money at that time.

No. Use as much as you like, our data speed will be our best effort at all times.

Is there a monthly or recurring fee?
No. The amount you pay includes the cost of service as well as the price of the device and are one-time fees.

How does activation work?
The device will automatically activate and then deactivate on the dates specified by the plan you will select during checkout. For details, please take a look at our plans.

I placed an order, now what?
You should have received an order confirmation by email. In the next 2-5 business days you will receive a shipment confirmation along with a tracking number. Once you receive the device, charge it and bring it with you to to the festival.

How can you afford to do this? Is this legit? This sounds too good to be true.
Yes, we are the real deal. We can afford to do this because the coverage at the festival is our network. If you have been to the festival before, then you know that all carriers throttle everyone there to a slow crawl. This leaves a large chunk of bandwidth sitting there on our network unused, ready for access by our customers.

Can I use the WiFi device anywhere else?
Service for the device will be limited to the area around Back Rock Desert. You are free to do what you like with the device after the festival, like hooking it up to another carrier so it will work elsewhere. We do advise that you not adjust the settings of the device until after the festival if you plan to do so, you may prevent the device from functioning properly at the festival. Additionally, if you alter the device settings after the festival, it cannot be used on our network next year.

Given the changing nature of the technology wireless providers use, we can't say with 100% certainty. We would advise that you to call and ask customer support of the provider you like when you find one.
